Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy is the practice of using ‘cups’ placed against the skin under vacuum, to draw out harmful toxins from the body. It is often used for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation, well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
Modern cupping uses a pump to create a vacuum inside the cup, rather than using heated cups.
Ask your therapist about whether or not cupping therapy might be the best treatment for your particular situation.
